Hope, I’m Coming

I am happy because of the stars that illuminate my darkness.
I am happy because of the white to balance the black.
I am happy because there is love to warm the hate.

I am happy because there is fire to soften ice.
I am happy because of the beautiful creations we make.
I am happy because of the wonders of the universe.
I am happy because there is always a new dawn.
I am happy because every breath enlivens me.

I am happy because you sing to me.
I am happy because of your tingling touch.
I am happy because the bluebirds are flying free.

I love life. I am happy. Hope, I’m coming.
